Glasgow - take the M9 to Perth , continue on the A9 to Inverness then the A96 to Nairn - 168 miles
From Edinburgh - take the M9 to
Perth , the A9 to Inverness and the A96 to Nairn - 154 miles.

Aberdeen - take the A96 in the direction of Inverness - 87 miles. Scenic Routes:
From Perth - Pitlochry, Braemar, Royal Deeside and over the Lecht to Grantown-on-Spey, then across Dava Moor and past mysterious Lochindorb to Nairn.

From Inverness - through Strathnairn, visit the village of Auldearn and Cawdor Castle . Several coach operators run daily services throughout the Highlands . Trains run from Inverness and Aberdeen to Nairn. There are links from all major cities to Inverness and Aberdeen . Overnight sleepers are available from London to Glasgow , Edinburgh and Inverness

By Air
Inverness Airport is less than 15 minutes from Nairn and easily accessed from the A96. It offers scheduled daily flights to Inverness from London Luton, London Gatwick (four each way per day), Manchester , Glasgow and Edinburgh  by Easyjet, British Airways and Eastern Airways. Alternatively, you can fly into an international airport such as Glasgow , Edinburgh , Prestwick or Aberdeen  and hire a car to enjoy the freedom and the scenery to the full.
Access is off A96 Inverness – Aberdeen at  Lochloy Road following  signs for Nairn Dunbar Golf Club.
